The funds you contribute to this campaign offer Claire, and her team, the ability to ensure that Lincoln County voters are aware of her fight to retain her seat on the Board of Commissioners (BOC), and understand not only the work she has done to bring the county back from the brink of the COVID pandemic and Echo Mountain Fire, but also, the contributions she made prior to these crises, and the plans she has, along with her fellow Commissioners, to bring about the growth, stability, and prosperity that is vital to the wellbeing of all who live, work, and visit Lincoln County.  Now is not the time to restructure or reorganize the BOC. The next 4 years need a well-seasoned government entity, and your financial donations will provide this campaign the resources needed to get that job done.

No donation is too small.  However,  the Oregon Constitution does not allow for limits on campaign contributions.  Therefore, you are allowed, and entitled to, donate as much or as little as is comfortable for you and your family.  However, to donate legally, you must meet the following qualifying criteria in order to make a contribution to this or any campaign:

• You are at least eighteen years old.

• You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).

• This contribution is made from your own funds, and funds are not being provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contributibution.

Oregon Political Tax Credit
While contributions to political campaigns are not tax deductible in the State of Oregon, you may be eligible for a tax credit as a result of your contribution.  This can be quite beneficial to you and your family come tax time. Please visit the Oregon Secretary of State to learn if you qualify for this gift from the state.
